Special materials
TSUBASA is one of the largest user of Cordura ® fabrics and producers in Asia.
We have developed special yarn specification which we are drawing and spinning in Taiwan and China.
Followings are our specifications.
- A) Woven
FDY/DTY: 20D FD FDY, 30D Bright FDY, 30D FD FDY, 40D FD FDY, 75D FDY, 80D FD ATY, 160D FD ATY, 420D Bright FDY, 500D SD ATY, 1000D SD ATY
These are mainly designed for reinforcement, super durable trousers and basic military materials. We can manage in range of lightweight durable material to heavy reinforcement as well as full stretch quality. (Martindale needs to pass 100,000 times rotation by 12KPA Lord)
Nyco Series: 70/30 40s/2, 70/30 16s+70d Lycra, 50/50 40s/2, 50/50 16s+70d Lycra, 50/50 40s, 50/50 40s+70d Lycra
These are qualified for mostly military specification with heat-resistant Lycra and available for durable FR special finish in our Nyco series.
- B) Knit
FDY/DTY: 45D/34F FD FDY, 68D/68F FDY, 75D/68F FD FDY, 80D/68F FD DTY, 80D/68F DTY Melange, 80D/106F FDY Melange (57% Cordura/43% Poly FDY)
Nyco Series : 60/40 20s, 60/40 30s-32s, 60/40 40s are available by Siro Compact Spinning and MVS
Fabrics are available from single jersey/tricot and light weight to high gauge material with anti-bacteria performances.

VECTRAN™ is the best cut resistance on light weight material in FDY and five times stronger than steel at same weight. VECTRAN™ has lower moisture absorption that makes it keep strength at any condition and good abrasion resistance on top of the best cut resistance. TSUBASA is available for the lightest cut resistance material VECTRAN™ (LCP) from Kuraray T-102 HT-110T20110D.

Tsubasa Kevlar® yarn is originated from 52912 Nm80/2 85mm staple Black Dope dyed yarn from Austria made by Schoeller Textile. Schoeller produced stretch-broken Kevlar® yarn which has stronger than regular Kevlar® staple yarn from others. Moreover, TSUBASA reinforces weakness of Kevlar raw material about light fastness issue with using Black Dope dyed Kevlar. This is the uniqueness of TSUBASA Kevlar®. We could offer the best consistency of high strength material and achieve the best cutting resistance for supplying Schoeller Woven labels by using Schoeller Kevlar.

TSUBASA has special weaving and dyeing technology that makes you have the best breathability. We can achieve waterproof minimum 400mm up to 750mm without any plastic application. Waterproof is available on fabric based on Organic Cotton or BCI Cotton with 180gm/m², 210 gm/m², and 250 gm/m².
